Overview

Claude AI — Nexus Theme ("Nexus Theme", "the Extension") is a browser extension that applies visual customizations to the Claude.ai website. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.

Data We Collect

None. Nexus Theme does not collect any personal data, usage data, analytics, telemetry, or any other form of information from its users.

Data Storage

The extension stores your theme preferences (selected color theme, glow settings, and font choices) using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API. This data:

Is stored locally on your device and synced across your Chrome browsers via your Google account
Is never transmitted to any external server
Is never accessible to the extension developer or any third party
Contains only your visual preference settings — no personal information

Permissions

The extension requires only two permissions:

storage — To save and sync your theme preferences across devices using Chrome's built-in storage
Host permission for claude.ai — To inject the visual theme stylesheet into the Claude.ai website. The extension only activates on claude.ai and does not run on any other website

Third-Party Services

The extension loads Google Fonts when you select a custom font option. This is a standard web font loading request and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are used.

Network Requests

Nexus Theme makes zero network requests to any external server except for optional Google Fonts loading when custom fonts are selected. All theme CSS is bundled with the extension and applied locally.

Account Requirement

No account, registration, or sign-up is required to use Nexus Theme. The extension works immediately after installation.

Changes to This Policy
